- Sliding head first: Following up from a previous episode, it was recently revealed that the Astros organization instructed their players not to slide head-first. Includes mention of manager Bo Porter and outfielder George Springer.
- Running into the wall as a form of hustle: Yasiel Puig crashed into the wall, and it was discussed whether this degree of hustle is ever worth it, considering injury risk.
- The shift: Ken Rosenthal wrote an article that said the Astros were shifting only as a means to gain information.
- Position player pitching: Catcher Martin Maldonado pitched for the Brewers. Ben and Sam discussed the minimum deficit required for it to be reasonable to use a position player to pitch, and mention the White Sox using a position player to pitch in an extra inning tie game.
